Arkwright Arts Policy

Welcome to the Arkwright Arts Page! At Arkwright, we love to promote Arts through our curriculum and also wider curriculum too. Arts encourages children to be creative, enthusiastic and confident children who can achieve their highest potential. At Arkwright Primary School, DT, Art and Music are taught as standalone lessons and Drama is weaved into the curriculum in a range of subjects.

In 2021, we signed up to the Arts Mark Award, whereby we hope to achieve Silver by next year (in 2023)!

If you would like to find out more information about the Arts Mark Award, please see this link: https://www.artsmark.org.uk/about/what-artsmark
