On January 8th 2025, Mrs Rowland and Mr Roberts held our first SEND/ Inclusion coffee morning where we invited all children’s parents/ carers (who are receiving extra support) to come and have an informal meeting in regards to their child’s pupil profiles and to meet myself as the new SENDco. We spoke about what does SEND and Inclusion mean and shared with the parents/carers information on who they can talk to about any questions they have, what assessments and process we put in place to support their child and also gave them the opportunity to  ask any questions they wanted to. We discussed support and resources they got in class to support their learning and interventions they were receiving in class. We spoke about ways to support behaviour at home, reading and homework.

All parents were given a parent/carer form to fill out to give them a voice on their child's education.
